Empowering pet owners facing a personal crisis or experiencing homelessness by ensuring they have access to the resources, support, and education necessary to maintain stable, loving relationships with their animals.
Our Vision
To create a more compassionate and stable future for both people and pets, so no one ever has to choose between their beloved pet and taking care of themselves.

We seek to create hope for families in crisis by offering a compassionate alternative to surrendering your beloved pet to an animal shelter. Through our temporary foster program, pets are placed with hand picked, loving families until they can be reunited with their owners!

Community Outreach
At HPF, we seek to provide resources, veterinary care, and education for the pets of individuals who are currently homeless. A pet is sometimes the only companionship an individual facing homelessness has and the last connection to a stable life. We seek to ensure pets can be taken care of alongside their owners, regardless of their situation.

There is a gap in understanding animal behavior within the general population. This often leads to inconsistent leadership in households, unhealthy habits, and difficulty reinforcing positive behaviors. These challenges can affect a pet’s ability to thrive both at home and in the wider world.
HPF offers education on animal behavior to promote the positive relationships between pets and their owners, while creating more inclusive and welcoming spaces for people with pets.

$25 - One bag of dog food for a pet in need.
$50 - One month of food for the pet in need.
$100 - One month of standard care for a pet in the HPF foster system.
